Ofsted & Section 48
The governors and I are delighted to share St Patrick's OFSTED report with you which has judged the school to be “Good” in all areas. We believe that the school consistently provides a high-quality education to pupils throughout their time with us. This report is a summary of the positive feedback that we received which reflects our school.
The inspection was carried out under a very different framework than the one used for our last OFSTED inspection in 2013. Whilst St Patrick’s previous judgement was “Outstanding, OFSTED’s National Director of Education has said that if: “a school has been judged “Outstanding”, a good many years ago, is inspected again and judged to be “Good” …that doesn’t mean that the school has declined in recent years, in fact the opposite can be the case.”
The Governors and staff of St Patrick’s continue to work to ensure that the pupils of St Patrick’s School receive the best educational experience possible in order to reach their full potential. We are proud of our school and are pleased that the OFSTED report recognises many areas of strength.
Pupils are proud to attend St Patrick's Catholic Primary School. They talk positvely about how the school values enable them to feel part of a 'community' where everyone is kind, gentle and fair. Many parents comment favourably about the school's nurturing and inclusivce ethos and the care that staff show to pupils and their families.
